The Erath County Appraisal District is accepting resumes for a Real Estate/Commercial Property Appraiser.

  • Responsibilities include: office and field work, the appraisal of property such as: office buildings, apartments, and retail developments, and ARB presentations.
  • Applicants must possess a college degree/or related appraisal experience, TDLR certification, or be willing to complete the requirements to obtain such certification.
  • Qualified applicants must have good computer and communication skills, a Texas Driver’s License, and a clean driving record.

Erath County Appraisal District is seeking a Taxpayer Service Representative to add to our Administrative Support staff.

Duties include:

  • answer phones, help public with general questions, accept applications, process daily tasks of entering and processing application information, all scanning functions, and assisting with data entry.
  • Applicant must be able to multi-task and work under frequent interruptions, be able to learn terminology and explain records to the public, know how to file and operate all business machines.
  • Qualified applicants will need to be able to work under pressure while maintaining a good rapport with customers, must possess a pleasant personality both in person and on the telephone, be able to work alone or with others, proficient in typing, responsible and timely.
  • Previous office experience is preferred.
